Dr. Arthur Ammann Delivers Commencement Speech

Dr. Arthur Ammann receives an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of San Francisco College of Arts and Sciences, Humanities of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Ammann is being recognized for his pioneering research on the front lines against HIV and AIDS and his immense passion and care for those neglected and underserved communities throughout the world.

On May 18, 2018, Dr. Ammann gave a stirring and emotional commencement address to the graduating class, sharing his life experiences and dreams. He offers this class of 2018 insight into a vision of what they can do beyond their education - dignity. Dr. Ammann's full address can be viewed here.
