Global Strategies is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Boyle to its Board of Directors. Colin brings a distinguished career at the intersection of the private, public, and social sectors, with a proven commitment to advancing health equity and strengthening global health systems.

Currently a Continuing Lecturer at the Berkeley Haas School of Business, Colin previously spent 14 years as a Partner and Managing Director at the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco, where he was a leader in the firm’s Health Care and Social Impact practices. Following his tenure at BCG, he served for eight years as Deputy Director for the University of California San Francisco’s Institute for Global Health Sciences, where he was responsible for operations and the development of several research and educational initiatives.

Colin is deeply embedded in the global health community, serving as Chair of the Bay Area Global Health Alliance — a network of more than 100 organizations in technology, life sciences, academia, and the nonprofit sector that collaborate to improve global health outcomes. He has also served on the Boards of Directors for numerous social sector organizations, including Partners and the Oakland Museum of California, where he played a key role in completing an $85 million capital campaign, developing a new strategic plan, and executing a major rebranding.

“We are honored to welcome Colin to the Board,” said Dr. Joshua Bress, President, Global Strategies. “His leadership, network, and experience working across sectors will be invaluable as we expand our reach, strengthen partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions to improve health care for women, children, and newborns in the world’s most underserved regions.”

Colin holds an undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard College, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.

I want to congratulate our funders for the aid they have given so we can work in these communities. We would have lost our entire community if PEP had not been funded.
